If an animal becomes a host to too many fleas for too long they can lose too much blood and become anaemic. If we are talking pets which is what I assume you mean (cats and dogs) it is an essential part of being a pet owner, fleas are Especially important to get rid of when found on young animals as they aren't able to handle the toxins and lack of blood. Pets or any animal can and will almost always suffer many medical and fatal problems when anaemic and from the anaemia itself. All in all, yes, animals can die due to fleas.

The Flea-less Tribe is a semi literate to literate role-play tribe set in the popular IT game Cereal Soup. based around avoiding fleas and their 'evil' ways. Legends say fleas carried much grief to those who carry them, bad luck and misfortune are just some of the reasons this tribe avoids them. Paintings of the alliance between the canis and raptor during this time are found on cave walls, the fleas must be stopped.

I know, I know, nobody wants to follow rules but to keep this roleplay group sane we need to add a few in.
No post cutting; the hopes are that we'll all go in turns {If there isn't too many roleplaying at once, there will be an amount soon} starting with the person who has been in the group the longest and ending in with the newest. There will be no punishment for post cutting unless the same person continues to post cut after being told polityto wait their turn.
Be supportive; if someone does not feel like roleplaying please do not force them to, this group does not force you to do so, you can simply join for the social aspect.
Be patient; this mainly leans toward how people who are more experienced feel toward people who would like to learn how to, heck, ask them if they'd like some lessons.
Nothing inappropriate; try not to do anything that'd upset your grandma.

These Canines/Raptors have the duties of;
Capturing and killing prey
making sure their species is fedÂ
Leading Seekers to killed pray to help carry it back
HEALER
These Canines/Raptors have the duties of;
Healing the sick, injured or flea infested
making sure the seeker collects what they need
being there for the chicks/pups before they are put in the nursery.
SEEKER
These Canines/Raptors have the duties of;
Collecting food/materials when help is needed
Collecting things healers ask them to collect
TEACHER
These Canines/Raptors have the duties of;
Teaching chicks/pups certain things {e.g. hunting}
these Canines/Raptors MUST exceed in their training to become a teacher
CHICK/PUP SITTER
These Canines/Raptors have the duties of;
Caring for cubs or chicks once out of the Healers hands
make sure they are fed and protected.
Preferably each species stick so their species' children
BASIC MEMBER
These Canines/Raptors have no true rank but are still just as needed as any other rank
Their main job is to care for at home duties.
STUDENT
This is a student, they are being taught into ranks
PUP/CHICK
These canines/raptors are still too young to become a student and can choose how young they are.
WANDERER
These Canines/Raptors are unsure if they want to stay but wish to try out living the tribe life.
